Last month the army reoccupied four acres belonging to Kilinochchi Mahavidyalayam and also completely closed off the road leading to the ground.

The school spent around 150,000 rupees renovating the grounds after it was released after the end of the war.

The District Coordinating Committee for Kilinochchi decided on Monday to write to the Sri Lankan President about the land-grab.
