Batticaloa residents continued clearing the destroyed Mavadi Munmari thuyilum illam (LTTE cemetery) in preparation for Maaveerar Naal.
Families of Maaveerar (fallen LTTE cadres) who got involved in the clearing spoke to media and said they hoped that locals would come out in strong numbers for the commemorations to be held on November 27.
