TRO France assists 50 farmers in Kokkuthoduvai

On October 4th, the French Tamil organisation Organisation de Réhabilitation Tamoule (TRO France) extended their support to 50 farmers, primarily women, in Mullaitivu. The aid distribution event took place at the Kokkuthoduvai Agrarian Services Centre.

Farmers hailing from the villages of Kokkuthoduvai and Karunatukerny were selected as beneficiaries of this assistance program.

Each of the 50 farmers received 50 kilograms of peanuts for planting and cultivation purposes. Additionally, a seed grant was provided to these farmers to help cover the costs of essential farming materials, including fertilisers, further supporting their agricultural activities.

Despite the risks, our team on the ground remain committed to providing detailed and accurate reporting of developments in the Tamil homeland, across the island and around the world, as well as providing expert analysis and insight from the Tamil point of view
